So how does it work?
Once we have your age, height and weight we use a formula (Mifflin st Jeor) to calculate your basal metabolic rate which tells us how many calories your body burns at rest. We then multiply that by how active you are to find your total daily energy expenditure. TDEE is the total number of calories your body will burn in a day including physical activity such as exercise. (Remember this is just an estimate but it will give you a pretty good idea of where to start).
